This page groups the audit of the macros run in October 2026 on XWiki 18.8.0: every macro in scope checked against a frozen copy of the [[Usability criteria>>doc:Proposal.WYSIWYGusabilityofXWikimacros.Usability criteria.WebHome]], then the triage of the KOs found and their report in JIRA. The criteria themselves and the conclusions that hold beyond this audit stay on the [[proposal page>>doc:Proposal.WYSIWYGusabilityofXWikimacros.WebHome]]. | |
||
The scope is the 68 macros of XWiki Standard and of the Recommended extensions that are fully open source. Deprecated macros replaced by another one, macros from Pro extensions and macros from non recommended extensions are left out. | |
||
* [[Per macro analysis>>doc:Proposal.WYSIWYGusabilityofXWikimacros.Audit October 2026.Macros.WebHome]]: start here to follow the audit. Charts of the progress and the results, the history of the audit day by day, and the results by criterion and by macro. Each macro has its own page under it, with its audit. | |
* [[Triage>>doc:Proposal.WYSIWYGusabilityofXWikimacros.Audit October 2026.Triage.WebHome]]: the triage of the KOs, the existing and the new JIRA issues mapped to them, and every KO with its tickets. | |
* [[Audit process>>doc:Proposal.WYSIWYGusabilityofXWikimacros.Audit October 2026.Audit process.WebHome]]: how to audit a macro step by step, then report its KOs in JIRA, and where every part of the audit is stored. | |
* [[Audit criteria>>doc:Proposal.WYSIWYGusabilityofXWikimacros.Audit October 2026.Audit criteria.WebHome]]: the copy of the usability criteria every macro is audited against. | |
* [[Known issues>>doc:Proposal.WYSIWYGusabilityofXWikimacros.Audit October 2026.Known issues.WebHome]]: the JIRA issues reported before the audit, sorted by the macro they affect. | |
* [[Documentation status>>doc:Proposal.WYSIWYGusabilityofXWikimacros.Audit October 2026.Documentation status.WebHome]]: where each macro is documented, and whether that documentation has been migrated to the new documentation tree. | |
* [[Out of scope macros>>doc:Proposal.WYSIWYGusabilityofXWikimacros.Audit October 2026.Out of scope macros.WebHome]]: the macros left out of the audit, with the reason for each.
