Meet Dave, a reader on our wiki. Dave works in an oil & gas bigco (GazGuzzlerInc.), where his aim is to answer business queries from the company's partners. To do so, he often needs to check out information about GazGuzzlerinc's products. This information is mostly stored on a wiki, updated on a regular basis by GazGuzzlerInc's product management team.

When he's looking for information about a product, Dave goes to the wiki portal homepage. Once there, he needs to be able to find the relevant product sheet. Since most of the time he has to do this while on the phone with a partner, Dave needs to be able to find relevant information very quickly, potentially while under pressure.

He'd also like to be kept informed when new product descriptions are published. Last year, he missed the introduction of the brand new SuckMyOil pipe cleaner and felt quite unhappy when customers started asking him about a product he didn't even know existed! Dave is now trying to keep an eye on what's going on with new products.
