Issues with the current implementation

The main issues about the current implementation are:

• Performance
• Extensibility

Other issues

• Focus and separation of concerns, i.e. What do we display in the Activity Stream and how do we display it?
• Back-end is written as a plugin instead of a component
• The UI lacks basic features like "see more results" and the ability to filter events
• The events are stored twice, once in the main wiki and once in the local wiki where they have occured. This creates problems with local vs absolute referencing and also with searching scopes.

The list of use cases is the first step in deciding what we need to do from here on. Please contribute your use cases to it as it will then be evaluated and prioritised based on the discussions on the mailing lists.
