Description

Types

Two kinds of testing: 

  • First impressions testing: let the user interact with the product, see if the user understand what the product does, how it's organised, how it works, what is the purpose, etc.
  • Task testing: ask the user to do something and then watch how well they did it.

Purposes: 

  • Find usability issues while evaluating the product inside the usability test;
  • Verify hypotheses provided by the usability reviewer.

Users

User Experience:

  • Beginner User
  • Medium User
  • Experimented User

User Rights:

  • User (Simple)
  • Administrator (Advanced)
  • Developer

Screening questions: 

  • Male / Female
  • Age: 18-30, 30-50, 50+
  • Employment: full-time | student
  • Technology: pc at home, internet usage of minimum 2 hours a day;
  • Online activity: familiar with internet collaboration (comments), reading online articles, usage of different applications, etc.
  • Technology interest
